Modal Verb Practice - Term 3

 Term 3 has started and there are lots of things to do. If I want to improve or change myself unlike from the previous terms. I want my rest of the months this year to be productive and realistic. I have to make plans first or list it into small parts so that It won't be boring and lazy to do. These past few nights I said to myself that sleeping earlier than 9:30 p.m. is a must! So far so good. I need to sleep early to wake up early, right? I should also interact in class more this term. Maybe I could read more books than I did before to increase and expand my vocabulary. There's a really big possibility that I might do more things than what I have said in here, so I wish the best for myself!

Here is my #4 Digital Learning Object in English about William Shakespeare in preparation for the next topic which is the Merchant of Venice, one of his many plays.

We are using a google drawing template to look beyond the topic statement about watching television in New Zealand on both sides, cons and pros, to develop and maintain our skills in writing and reasoning.

Here is my #2 Digital Learning object in English about William Shakespeare in preparation for the next topic which is the Merchant of Venice, one of his many plays.

I simply just put the questions and answers together using Canva. There are 10 questions corresponding to William Shakespeare and the town of Elizabethan, and also the plays or theatre. 

My wonders:
Who's ruling the Elizabethan or England in Shakespeare's time? 
If they throw their toilet waste on the street, is it stinky, dirty in the town?
Does someone collect these waste?
How small is the town of Elizabethan?

Gladiator

Roman Gladiator

Gladiator matches happen at the Colosseum (below) in the Roman ancient times. Gladiator or simple as swordsman comes from the Latin word "gladius" meaning 'sword'. They are mostly slaves from wars fighting with gladiators or wild animals like bulls and tigers. If they win many fights they can be granted freedom but gladiators always get a brutal death.



Here's a sample advertisement I made for Gladiator matches using Roman Numerals and inserting different events that you can see.

Did you know that there are also women gladiators called gladiatrices or Amazons?
